Privacy notice

NSU processes contact, membership, professional-profile and payment-reference information to respond to enquiries, administer membership, verify eligibility, deliver member services and maintain accountable financial records.

The public website uses a first-party anonymous visitor cookie to understand visits, returning visitors, page views and selected link clicks. The cookie contains a random identifier which the server converts to a protected hash. When IP intelligence is enabled, the source IP may be sent server-to-server to the selected geolocation provider; NSU stores the IP with authenticated encryption and limits decrypted access to Super Administrators. Location, network and lookup-status information is retained with the analytics event until its configured expiry. Analytics does not track the member portal or CMS, removes URL query strings from tracked destinations and honours Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control browser signals. Visitors can opt out by setting nsu_analytics_opt_out to 1 in their browser local storage.

Access is restricted by role. Supporting documents and member resources are stored outside the public website. Payment activation relies on server-verified Collecto records. Information is retained only for operational, professional and legal requirements, and members may contact NSU to request correction of their personal information.
